Case Study. Thought Bubble Communications worked with Play Like a Girl to promote the STEM and sports nonprofit, their partnership with the NFLPA, and the Girls Leadership Academy of Arizona during Super Bowl week in 2023.
 

Play Like a Girl programs leverage the transferable skills middle school girls gain from sport to give them a competitive edge in the classroom and, ultimately, propel them into competitive, male-dominated careers in STEM as young women.

 

To meet the communications objectives, the following tasks were managed and executed by Thought Bubble Communications:

  • Drafted press release

  • Created industry-specific and vetted media list

  • Managed local and national media pitching and secured earned media

 

As a result of Thought Bubble Communications efforts, the nonprofit received media placement in outlets like Black Enterprise, Yahoo! Sports, Prensa Arizona and KNXV-TV.

 

Results.

  • 60,096,791 traditional media impressions between January and February 2023

  • 10 media clippings and broadcast stories

  • 3 on-air appearance
